Buying American

I swear I've made a post before. Or maybe I didn't...

Maybe I just made a blog with the realization that my thoughts deserved an online forum, and then promptly forgot....although I remember a vague recollection of my clever "Life as a Cartoon Character" blog title. Every once in a while I bust out a gem. Maybe more like every thrice in a while.

I hate yokels. Maybe not hate. Some feeling between loathing and frustration. Hate is reserved for my ex boyfriend. But I hate those Americans who refuse to buy anything made in China. It's stupid, and counter productive for everyone involved. Ok, you initiate a completely misguided movement where everyone refuses to buy from China, they continue along the merry way producing for cheaper prices more efficiently (which, wait a minute, was the entire basis of free market, capitalism, and the industrial revolution) and while they're at it, they'll stop buying American. As will the rest of the world, as they see Americans as self centered morons who can't work in conjunction with everyone else to make a functioning WORLD economy. Then our debt saturated country can drown in it's own stupidity, and I can move to France. I'm all for delusions, but xenophobia is bigoted and disgusting. I'm going to vomit on the next person who tells me they only buy American. If only it were productive to try and reason with these people. The open minded are never the ones to be concerned about, the people that can follow a legitimate line of reasoning. It's the stubbornly short sighted egocentric Americans that want to preserve our way of life who are bound to destroy it.

And it's too Goddamn hot in the Northeast. I don't like it when the heat is literally touching me.
